1st Credit a highly successful Financial Services Organisation based in Reigate are seeking to appoint a Compliance Officer within their award winning Compliance Team (Credit Today Award’s Compliance Team of the Year). This role is an exciting opportunity for a compliance specialist seeking a new challenging opportunity.

Compliance Officer – Complaints Team

• Investigating written and verbal complaints
• Investigating queries/fraud cases
• Speaking to and corresponding with debtors.
• Dealing with relevant regulatory bodies (CSA, FOS)
• Maintaining complaints log
• Providing feedback as required
• Identifying areas of improvement
• Liaison with other internal Departments where required
• Investigating and resolving queries relating to credit reference data
• Preparing month end statistics and client report
• Attendance at seminars/conferences
• Dealing with ‘subject access requests’
• Any other duties as may be required

Experience & Skills

Working within a Customer Service and Complaint departments.
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of regulatory bodies
Thorough knowledge of our systems and collection procedures
Ability to work to targets
Ability to prioritise workload
Ability to manage own caseload
Dealing with Complaints
Good keyboard skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Qualifications

Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) C Grade or above
