Credit Today unveils award shortlist

The Credit Today Awards shortlist is today unveiled, with 68 credit companies shortlisted across 22 categories, making the annual event by far the biggest in the industry’s calendar.

With a record number of excellent entries, the judges have this year split the commercial credit team and consumer credit team awards into two sections: one for utilities and telecoms, the other for the remaining lenders and companies. The technology category has also been divided in two: in-house solutions and externally-supplied technologies.

The judges were extremely impressed with the high standard of entries across the board, with litigation team of the year yielding an extraordinary number of strong applications. Publisher Kamala Panday said: "It was incredibly difficult to choose between the litigation teams when shortlisting. As a result we have nine firms vying for the gong – each one presented a strong case and it was impossible to exclude any more of them."

The Awards, sponsored by Link Financial, take place on the evening of Thursday 14 May at the Grosvenor House Hotel. Tickets left for the night are in short supply, but companies can secure their tables by visiting www.credittodayawards.co.uk
