Gothia Financial Group has acquired collection agency ‘Team 4 Collection’ in Madrid, in a move which sees the firm expand its presence in Spain.
Team 4 Collection was established in 2009 by a management team led by Maria Haddad, and the company has since entered into co-operation with the large banks in Spain.
It currently has contracts in both portfolio administration and debt collection. The firm is expected to generate revenue of around €6m (£4.9m) in 2012 and employs more than 70 staff.
Gothia, which is the owner of UK-based credit management firm BCW Group, currently employs over 1,000 staff in 10 countries.
